Right click menu?#28

Figma does this very well: right clicking on any object (on the design board or the object list) gives you a subset of actions that work for that object. It’s a great way to get a focused list of things you’d like to do.

Right now in Rive, it feels like I MUST use the command/letter keys to get things done. The menu is always there but it’s ‘the encyclopedia of options’ while a right click is helpful for fairly common actions but not so common that I have the shortcut key memorized.

Part of this feature is now live in the file browser. You can right click any file or folder and get access to “the encyclopedia of options” as @Scott put it. 🙂

+1 Feels like in many places a right click context menu would be the right move. This needs to be tagged as planned if it’s planned?

Some things do have right click context, but most don’t.
